SEEK

The whole city, lit up by what's happening right now.

The official 2026 city guide, a curated DJ schedule and the tools to turn all of it into an actual night out — built for the dust and usable without a signal.

  • Ask the playa — or browse it. Let the map choose something happening now, or open focused, searchable lists for Events, DJ Sets, Art and Camps. Favorites brings every category back together.
  • Bright means soon. Markers glow harder as an event approaches and fade as it ends. Want a plan instead? Tonight's Path chains three or four reachable events into an actual evening.
  • Every happening, as a list. Jump by date, filter event types, expand cards with photos and save your reading place separately in each category. Camp names open full profiles with every scheduled happening.
  • DJ sets and art, made usable. Search 1,880 curated sets by artist or camp, favorite them, set alerts, listen on Spotify and tap ROAM There. For art, mark Want to Visit or Visited and keep a private note.
  • Where am I? Reads your GPS back as a playa address — "you're at 4:15 & F" — no signal needed. Set your camp once and one tap points you home from anywhere.
  • The essentials, already mapped. Medical, Rangers, Ice, Info and toilet banks sit at their surveyed locations.

One tap guides you to the nearest porta-potty. And yes — you can star your favorites. A known throne beats an unknown throne.

SEEK  ·  CHASE THE LIGHT

Catch the sky doing something beautiful.

Drag the sun or moon across the sky and the map shows exactly when golden hour, moonrise or the dark will land where you're looking.

  • Aim the light. Tap any art piece with the scrubber open and a sight-line shows the moment the sun will hang exactly behind it.
  • Pin the moment. Set an alert in your own words — "Chase the sun to: the Temple" — and Seek pings you when the sky arrives.
  • One place for every alert. Preview, edit or delete sky alerts, shifts, meetups and private plans — each with a time, playa address and private note.
ROAM
Roam at night — turn-by-turn to the C corner past Swan Forest, a beacon lighting a camp in the distance

ROAM  ·  THE ROAD

Turn-by-turn through a city with no signal.

The whole city, conjured from a golden spike and twelve rings. Core navigation needs no cell service — the streets just stand true.

  • Real camps, real photographs. Lit boards represent actual placed camps. Tap one for details, favorite it or open its full list of happenings.
  • Free Roam. Look around a true-scale city, follow blinking turns or reverse direction without the entire view swinging with your phone.
  • Landmarks, spoken aloud. Hear the turn, distance and arrival cue in playa language — including where to keep the Man.
  • Retrace your route. Follow the path you just traveled back through the city.
A notification reading: Bike saved here, 6:45 and F, outside Banana Hammocks, with Got it and Not here buttons
Saved on its own — nobody pressed Park.

ROAM  ·  GETTING BACK

It remembers where you left the bike. Even when you don't.

Losing your bike is the classic way to lose a night out here. So Roam watches your speed: a real ride followed by a real stop means you got off — and it pins the spot without being asked.

  • It saves first and tells you after. Pinned by camp name, because at 4am "outside Banana Hammocks" finds a bike and six decimal places doesn't. Every stop is kept — a wrong guess is a shortlist, not a dead end.
  • A gold trail follows you. Fairy-dust breadcrumbs drop behind you as you ride, and Retrace walks them backwards — often the only way home from somewhere you drifted to.
Wander riding you to a random happening on now or soon

ROAM  ·  WANDER

No plans? Let the playa decide.

Tap Wander and the city chooses for you — a happening on now or starting soon, within a short walk — then rides you there turn-by-turn. It's the fastest cure for standing at your bike wondering where to go.

  • On now, or soon. It only sends you somewhere actually alight — never a listing that ended this morning.
  • Within reach. A short walk by default; set 5, 10, 20 minutes or the whole city in settings.
  • Again, and again. Arrive, Wander again, and the night keeps moving without you deciding a thing.
CAST
Cast — three obsidian dice showing 3, :45 and F on the Black Rock City map, the Man burning behind them
A challenge card: Recruit two strangers for a synchronized swimming routine. There is no water.
One of 215 dares — every roll can carry one.

CAST

Three obsidian dice pick your corner of the city.

Roll the hour, the minute and the street — or touch a single stone and let it speak alone. The dice land on a real address, and the map flares where fate put you.

  • Every address, within your range. 2:00 through 10:00, Esplanade through K — plus The Man, The Temple, Deep Playa and Home. Set limits before you roll.
  • 215 challenge cards. Every roll can come with a dare. Choose Wholesome, Playful, Bold, Wild or Unhinged; adult tiers stay off until you confirm 18+.
  • Write your own. Build a private challenge deck on your iPhone, then favor, bury or hide cards to shape what the Oracle draws.
  • The Chronicle. Every roll and every dare you accepted, kept as a record of your week.

Built on the Principles

Seek. Roam. Cast.

The playa was always the oracle. This just carries it in your pocket.
